Eligibility Criteria :
All such trained primary teachers, as defined in Rule 2(ix) of Bihar Primary School Head Teacher Rules, 2024, who have been employed by local bodies and are covered by the concerned Local Body Teacher Rules, 2020, also include such teachers. Who are appointed under Bihar State School Teacher (Appointment, Transfer, Disciplinary Action and Service Conditions) Rules, 2023 and Bihar School Special Teacher Rules, 2023
This will not include teachers covered under Bihar Governmentized Elementary School Teacher Transfer, Disciplinary Action and Promotion Rules, 2018.
Any teacher as defined can participate in the examination conducted by the Commission. Provided that he has minimum 08 years of teaching experience in government primary schools and he is 58 years of age or less as on 01.08.2024. The age of old age retirement is 60 years.
The competent authority to give certificate of minimum 08 years of teaching experience in government primary schools will be the District Education Officer.
